Today while at Calvin's house and i kept pointing at Calvin's MSN messenger and asked:" who is that? who is this? no idea." and when we were having a conversation, he asked me:" Why do you have so little friends? Look at me......blah blah blah." This is a fact that i have acknowledged for quite some time. truly said compared to the baby face Calvin Nga, i seem to have less friends compared to him. I replied my friends consist of " F4, F5 and F6"(due to the fact that i am a librarian and i had quite some good friends made in the library )

I was then quite satisfied with my answer as it led to Calvin's immediate silence. Now, i would like to take it back and answer in this way:" Having only 1 true and genuine friend is way way way( multiplied a billion times) beyond+infinitive times better than having uncountable friends. Its true that you need to have lots of connections to survive in this world but to me, a true friend is what that colors my life, they are an inspiration and motivation. To me, true friends means the world to me.

lately, many incidents seem to help me open my eyes that widely ....i got to whiteness with my own bare eyes who my true friends were. At the same time the ugly side of some appeared. Competition can sometimes be harsh. yet , i am again grateful and blessed to possess all these "living treasures" ranging from gold, diamond, Sapphire to silver.

Today, i can say that i have a handful of true friends. It may just be a handful but its like a blessing to me. I never knew that how much i could be touched or overwhelmed by just something that seems so small. it can be just a word of encouragement or it can just be a short and simple comment, this is more than enough to move mountains in my world.
My definition of friends keep changing for the past years so may time mature me and make me wiser in my decisions and thoughts.
