SPot and correct!!!

Finally, my job as a tuition teacher has officially ended. Though i was not able to complete their exam week with them but i did alot of revision for them before i leave. Sounds dedicated right? And you know what? I am a genius in spotting questions!!!!

apparently, for the boy's making sentences segment, Alot of sentences were done before. there was 1 about the butcher, and ostrich, cheetah....and also about a cat. All these sentences i discussed before..HOORAY!!!! but leh..unfortunately..the boy made some silly mistakes..the " a" " an" "the" ..he forgot again..and lost marks unnecessarily, never mind la..he did his best and sudah banyak improved..and ohya..the boy din know wat a cheetah is!!!! OMG..lucky he guessed correctly..given a picture of a cheetah to guide him.haha..wacth more ANIMAL PLANET!

They have another exam to go this week..wish them the best of luck! Tomorrow going to wacth Wolverine: the origins!!! Great!!! i love X-men!!!! and wed going to climb hill...Fri going to farewell...sat going yumcha with old librarian gang...and this week will be a week full of simply delicious IPOH delicacy before i head off to Pahang!!

A raise in Pay

last night was my 2nd last day as a tuition teacher. Its been 4 long months and a tiring time. But i have to say that i'm proud and happy to be able to help the children. In 2 weeks, i taught the girl from Kata Ganda, kata hubung, kata dasar, kata majmuk, kata tunggal ....so much to teach. teaching them, i have to ride a rocket instead of a roller coaster. I have to fast forward everything and summarize it so that can fair well in their exams.

Well, this week is exam week and its a crazy week for me. I have to give them tests and make the boy make over 30 sentences to prep him for the english paper tat he wil be sitting today. I hope he fairs well and does not repeat the mistakes i taught over and over again a zillion times. I told them:" 我把人家四五年學的英文在短短四個月傳教給你們, hope u can zap sang lar."

actually as their teacher i am happy that they improved . I saw from a 0 to a 55 improvement. But i'm happy that i changed their study 'budaya'. meaning that from a chinese cartoon couch potato, i kinda forced them to switch to be an English cartoon kid. and i kinda make them watch at least an hour of Animal Planet(my friends say that i am crazy) per week..haha...+they know how to check the dictionary now! gonna miss them!

and the best thing is that their mum actually raised my pay RM 50 as they kinda appreciated what i had done to help them. The money was not the best deal, its the appreciation you earn from your hard work that really counts for me! really satisfied.....haah...all the best to Yong Zhi Fong and Yong Siew Ling. You guys better work hard and do well in your exams!

Happy V-day!!!! to those who love or wants to be loved!!!!!

Today had tuition and i was so glad!!!..you two really did not disappoint me..The boy scored 14/16(earlier he scored 3/16) for his spelling!!!!!!!!! Hooray..so happy...really makes me proud and this made me realized in the first place why i enjoyed teaching them. Well, Their exam is around the corner. I really hope that they will do well ...but lets take One step at a time...haha..still working on the boys' sentence making...

Hope you guys do well!!!...had crabs for dinner..not bad lar..this V-Day. Heard my sis went for audition today..dunno how well she faired!..

watched American Idol??? i have a couple of favorites this year. Adam Lambert (the theater guy)and Danny Gokey(the guy whose wife passed away and was good friends with jamar) are frickkin AWESOME!!!!Have you guys hear Adam sing BELIEVE by Cher??..OMG..DAWG!!!! OR Danny singing Kiss From a Rose by Seal!!!...BLIMEY!!!!! Their voices definitely are blowing me away for know. As for the girls, loved Rose Flack, too bad she got eliminated so rooting for another SOUL girl...Jesse or Megan..haha. I love SOUL music....haha..people who sing with their soul!!! That Norman(the clown guy) really kinda freaked me..haha

Also watched One in a Million. Amylea(AF3 2nd runner up) and Pija(Mentor Winner) took part !!!!! Love Amylea!!!!! And there was also a Chinese girl who was quite good(soulful)!!!!

Since my friend left, kinda rindu....miss the time we ejek-ejek.....juts rindu lar...semoga dia sentiasa bahagia dan gembira. This is life, thats what i realised.....hope to hear more from you SOON!!! I would definitely not forget the days you brought laughter in my life!

Life goes on..right? So went for my 2nd,3rd and 4th driving lessons. haha...for the 2nd driving lesson, it actually rained...so got to experience driving in the rain!!!..then on the 3rd lesson i finally went gai gai out in the Real roads!!! And today(4th lesson), i again got to experience driving on the real road. Well, what i can sum up is that driving needs lots of patience and also you must be extremely alert and careful at the same time!!!!....Today i kinda gave myself a target. I cannot sei foh so many times jor...so i targeted 0 times.

unfortunately...failed to do so..so changed my target..instead i targeted to sei foh 5 times(the most for today)..and i met to my expectations. Hooray!!! Great....Today was kinda a weird day as when i drove, i saw a dead dog on B route...really pity the dog. Its' carcass was left on one side of the road and for goodness sake, its skin was like in such a poor condition. (so kesian)..gosh! I really sympathise the dog......treasure life as we live only ONCE!!!...i kinda looked at it the very last time as i drived pass it.....(love you Waggie!!!!)

AND!!!!..i saw goats and cows on the way..really bizarre la....haha...by the wat did i mention today that 2 L-licenced car overtook me???...really la..i was driving at 40 km/hr..and using gear no. 4 odi and stilll they overtook me....they must have been speeding!!!..Where is there Justice!!!! How come they can speed!!!!...haiz..

Earlier smsed with Calvin and Japheth and shared with them my driving experience..haha...very funny to hear their 'encounters'!!! Good luck ar!!!..

The night before and had tuition...the girl did GREAT but the boy..haiz...the boy...gave spelling..and he got 3/16....and he told me he studied...i believed him...he told me studied by just looking through without practicing by writing down...kinda frustrated with him!!!!..Hei...!!!!!!...that was what i wanted to say....haiz...kids...please lar...listen and do properly lar..ok? Your exam coming already and yet...

Teaching

just back from my first tuition class. haha...it was ok lar...kinda find it enjoying. The girl was adorable and the boy seemed rather afraid of me. Do i look scary meh? Did not know what to expect but i know now that i have to work had and they too have to do more to brush up on their language.

at first i planned to give the girl(standard 2) to name animals. There are pictures of animals and all she has to do is to name them.(etc: owl, camel, octopus). I though she should have knew these animals but guess what, she did not know the names. So had to teach slowly..later asked her "You know where a camel lives in?" she again tak tau. So i explained what a desert was and told her about Africa. Apparently, she did not know what a desert was.Haiz....explained slowly. Aren't i dedicated?..haha...later i taught her about the earth and the four directions :North, South , East ,West. i did not teach wat i initially planned but it just came spontaneously. Taught her some grammar too.

So, for the boy i have him some grammar exercise to do. He tried very hard. Unfortunately, it was wrong. I had to start from "He, She, It" have "s" . "I" "You" "We" "There" no "s"...all the basics. He is in standard 5 and he better work harder.hehe and i believe under my guidance, he shuld be doing fine. I like read with him to improve his pronunciation.

At the end of day, i reminded them to remember what i taught them as i was going to test them on Sat.....I seems so cruel but they have to put more effort.

However, teaching seems fun. Time flies. Enjoyed it....haha...So any recomendations?
